Lauren Crown talks new EP, The Love Tomorrow

Meet Lauren Crown - Ambassador of self-love, and appreciator of all things 'here and now'.

The Scottish born 20-something whose style derives from the Folk and Soul genres has earned social followings from soul artists such as Tweet, (no pun intended, I promise) Marsha Ambrosius and Lalah Hathaway while on her musical journey to edifying the loveless.

Crown's voice is a stupefaction. Her candid tones and beat-based backing tracks come together to present a short diary style account for her new EP, 'The Love Tomorrow' - part two of a trilogy that'll  place the crown on the heads and in the hearts of listeners in the UK...and undoubtedly beyond.

Give me Love is my favourite track. A commendably honest tale of  Crown's pursuit for self contentment, acceptance and love spoken from the heart of a hopeful woman. Melodically, it echoes many of the components found in old school 90s soul, but is artistically crowned with a classy touch of modernity.

The four track EP is a great continuation of expression following Lauren's first compilation, The Adult Youth which was released last April, and brings with it the reassertion that less truly is more.

Download a free copy of The Love Tomorrow EP from www.laurencrown.com on Friday 7th March.

Cherish the day,
